Welcome to Day 22 of 30 Days To Your Financial Freedom Challenge!

Even if you are already running a business, you can bring in more cash with side gigs. These side gigs can actually bring in full-time money as a business if you play your cards right. However, remember that building your passive income is also important as you get through the financial crunch. But keep these ideas in mind for fast cash.

#1 Cleaning Houses

Cleaning businesses can include cleaning inside a house or outside the house. You can clean the rental property after people move, you can clean a shut-in’s kitchen, you can even make money pressure cleaning an entire house. It’s up to you and your interest what type of cleaning business you start depending on the demand in your area.

#2 Car Detailing

Starting a mobile car detailing business is a lucrative choice. People often don’t have time to properly clean their cars. If you offer to pick up the vehicle and do the work on their time schedule, you’ll be very successful.

#3 Handy Person Services

Are you good with a hammer and nail? Do you easily fix things in your own home? You can do handy person services for homeowners such as hanging art, adding new doorknobs, and fixing toilet seats. Anything that doesn’t require specialized skill and license, such as air conditioner repair, is a service you can offer.

#4 Pet Sitting

If you have some extra space in your home, you can offer pet daycare services as well as long term care. All you need is the space to do it safely for the type of pet you want to take care of, and you can make from $200 a week for just one pet.

#5 Dog Walking

Many people need their dogs professionally walked while they’re working, but some people just need the service due to their own illness or inability to do it themselves. Dog walkers can make upwards of $20 an hour.

#6 Grocery Delivery

Today, you can sign up with an app like Instacart.com, but you can also offer your services personally to people in your community. Leave your card with apartment communities, especially 55 plus communities, to get private clients to work with.

#7 Ride Share

A fast way to make some money is driving people around in your local area. If you live in a town with at least 50K people, you likely have a need. Check out Veyo.com, Uber.com, and Lyft.com for options.

#8 Renting Rooms / Space

Do you have a big house? If you do, consider getting roommates. If you live in a touristy area, you can also rent rooms by the night on sites like Airbnb.com. If your home is big and beautiful, you can even rent it out for events like weddings.

#9 Reselling

If you live in a community with a lot of resell shops like Goodwill, The Salvation Army, and other private thrift and secondhand stores, you may be able to make a full time living as a reseller. You can sell on sites like eBay.com, Poshmark.com, Facebook Marketplace, and Mercari.com or start your own physical location. If you are interested in becoming a reseller be sure to check out this popular post How To Become A Reseller For Fast Cash to learn more.

#10 Selling Your Arts and Crafts

If you are good at making anything, whether it’s painting, knitting, or woodworking (or anything else), you can sell your art and crafts for cash online and offline. Test it out by trying to sell some of the things you’ve already made on your local Facebook Marketplace.

#11 Microgreen Sales

If you have at least a quarter acre and live in a good area for growing, you can grow microgreens and other fruits and veggies for sale in your local market. Some microgreen sellers make six figures per acre. To learn more about selling at a Farmer’s Market check out this post The Truth About Selling At Your Farmer’s Market.

Anytime you fill an immediate need, you can make more cash. The main thing is to find out what is needed in your local area so that you can fill that need. For example, if you live in an area with a large retired community, they may need someone to run errands, do laundry, and other simple services. Fill those gaps of service, and you can turn a side gig into a new fulltime stream of income.
