When you have your own business in a particular niche, there are ways to increase your income and bring in extra cash doing what you already do. Let’s explore the ways you can generate extra money in your niche, even during financial downturns.

#1 Bundle Your Old Offers

Any digital products you’ve sold before can be bundled into a new product to sell. You can bundle everything you created the last year and sell it for a big blow out end of the year sale or beginning of year sell before you start pushing your new products and services.

#2 Create a Signature Talk

If you already have the expertise and are known in your niche, you can create a signature talk that you get paid to deliver at online and offline events. You can be paid directly as well as indirectly through ticket sales or merchandise sales. If you are just starting out then try out a webinar. Speaking gigs can be very lucrative and any way for you to start off and show your authority is key. Try creating a YouTube video or a Facebook Live.

#3 Sell Merch

If you’re already popular with your audience, there is no reason you cannot add a side gig selling business and niche related merchandise. You can easily set up your offers through sites like teespring.com and others. In most cases, you can set up a process that is totally automated and hands-off.

#4 Offer “Golden Key” Sales

This is a popular way that coaches offer sales for their audience. If you need money right now, you can sell your future information this way. Offer one to five “golden keys” that gives access to everything you ever produce in the future or for a specified period of time.

#5 Start a Coaching Group

Already help one-on-one via your blog, membership site, or other methods? Consider starting a small group coaching and mentorship program. Take up to five people in the group under your wing, give them exclusive access to you, and work with them to help them improve something within your area of expertise.

#6 Set Up a Membership Site

If you already produce an enormous amount of content, what better thing do you have to do with it than start a membership site. Set up the site to put all the content you’ve created for your programs inside. Don’t get overwhlmed with the idea that a membership site has to include hundreds of courses. You can start of with a small monthly membership selling simple products.  Remember the most important part of a membership is to ask your members what they need from you and you to deliver that.  

#7 Sell Other People’s Offers

Join more affiliate programs and start sending more offers to your email list for products and services other people created that you know your audience will like. Remember to stick with your ideal customer and what they need.

#8 Develop More Freebies

The more landing pages you have on your website, the more traffic you’re going to receive. Make sure you’ve set up plenty of entry points to your funnel via freebies or very low-cost products that address problems for your ideal customer.

If you’re already doing these things, take the time today to set up blog posts, email messages, and other promotional materials to get the word out about what you are offering. Don’t skimp on marketing and advertising when things get tough. Better to eat beans and rice temporarily than to stop your ads.
