You’ve made it! Welcome to the last day of 30 Days To Your Financial Freedom Challenge!
Anytime finances get tight, it’s a stressful time. But, the truth is, planning can lessen the anxiety even if you were caught off guard one time. You can work toward creating a solid financial future for your family and your business by setting financial goals, understanding how it all works, and continuing to make good decisions based on your goals, principles, and values.
Know Where You Stand
Do the work to discover your true financial situation both within your business and at home. This can be difficult if you’ve not kept track before, but just like in marketing, when it comes to money, you grow what you track.
Know Where You Want to Go
Not only should you be aware of your goals for your business, but you should also make goals for yourself and your family. What does your business look like when it’s achieved perfection? What does your family life look like when it’s achieved success? Write down the big hairy dreams so that you can turn them into real goals.
Know Who You Are Deep Down
Understanding yourself is an important task for anyone to accomplish. The main reason is that if you know what makes you excited, sad, energetic, and even stuck is a great way to find ways to succeed working with what you have or improving what you don’t have. Don’t try to turn yourself into a round peg if you’re a square peg. Be who you are.
Know What Your Business Stands For
When someone else thinks about your business, what do you want them to think about it? Design a business mission statement with that information in mind so that the choices you make, align with how you want the business to be seen.
Know Your Plan for Success
When you know what you want to achieve, it’s a lot simpler planning for it. You wouldn’t go on a hike in the mountains without knowing where the trail is, having a compass, or at least a map. Don’t plan your life without developing your map to success.
Know How to Follow Your Plan
Plans are only as good as your ability and willingness to follow them. Good intentions only go so far. You need to act to create success. Saying you’ll hike across the country is one thing, but if you never hiked before, you might need lessons first if you want to succeed.
Know How to Accept a Win
When you implement your plans and achieve success, even if it looks slightly different from what you thought it would, revel in it. When you feel good about what you’re doing, it’s easier to do it again and again.
