Bloggers generally have a lot to say. There are things you want to share with others through your words and your expertise. Chances are, you also would like to make some money from the information you provide. That’s what makes you a perfect candidate to offer coaching on your blog. You may be apprehensive about this idea and think you’re not qualified to coach anyone. Keep reading, and I’ll show you how coaching might just be the perfect fit for you.

 

You Have Something to Offer But Just Don’t Know It Yet

Some blog niches or themes lend themselves well to coaching. If you blog about personal finance, chances are people may wish to pay for your investment coaching. If you’re a relationship expert, dating coaching might be a logical fit.

 

Try This Out

If your content doesn’t seem to lend itself naturally to coaching, you may still be able to provide people with results to meet the needs they have. Take a look at your blog. What are some of the most popular posts? What subjects are people commenting on or contacting you to discuss? These are likely areas in which people are seeking additional information or advice. Do some brainstorming around those things to determine the kinds of options you can offer. If healthy eating is your specialty, let folks know you’ll be happy to work with them to create custom meal plans. Beauty bloggers might be able to provide skincare or color consultations. Get creative and see what your readers are interested in.

 

Not Sure If Coaching Is For You?

It’s natural to feel uncertain when starting something new. Remember how intimidating blogging used to feel? Now you have a vast array of posts on all sorts of information you feel passionate about. This alone qualifies you to share what you know one-on-one with others outside of your blog platform. Sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet and give it a try in order to start to feel comfortable. It might help you to offer free sessions for a limited time or to a certain number of people. This way, you’ll gain practice and have testimonials to offer future customers.

 

Why Coaching Works

Coaching can really offer you a lot of benefits and add to your income significantly. When you start working individually or in groups with people to help them solve their problems, you’ll gain a great deal of insight into what they really want and need. This will help you to provide your blog readers with more thorough and innovative content, increasing your readership and bringing you more potential coaching clients. It can also give you ideas for new products. Once you see what people’s core needs are, you can develop products or coaching sessions specifically geared to meet those needs. Finally, offering coaching sessions gives you a chance to earn money right away. Even if it’s only a small amount at first, your income is likely to grow over time. Adding new income streams is always a good idea.
